Testimonials

"I bought A.J. Mahari's ebook, on Loneliness. Wow! So much insightful and informative stuff. I had not ever really thought about there being anything positive about loneliness. You taught me so much. I have been able to make some wonderful changes in my life because your ebook helped me to learn that the place to start was with my attitude toward and thoughts about loneliness. Thanks so much A.J. and may God continue to bless all the work that you do."

-- Sue Johnson, Australia

"I have BPD and I had absolutely no hope for myself until I listened A.J. Mahari's Audio, Finding Hope From the Polarized Negativity of BPD. This and a few other audios I listened to taught me so much. I now have hope. I now understand how I have kept myself trapped in my own borderline chaos as a way of not feeling my pain. I can now change this. I highly recommend others with BPD listen to A.J.'s Audios for Borderlines."

-- Lindy Sinclair, U.S.A.

"A.J.'s Ebook and Audio Program for Non Borderlines - The Dilemma on The Other Side of BPD was a life-saver for me. From both the ebook and the audio program I learned so much about BPD that I still needed to understand so that I could make sense out of the chaos and turmoil of a relationship I was in and the pain of it all. This information helped me come to terms with the reality that love wasn't really what I thought it was. Thanks so much A.J.!"

Asperger's Syndrome and Adulthood - Two Worlds - One Bridge - Understanding Ebook © A.J. Mahari April 2006

Asperger's Syndrome and Adulthood Ebook
As A.J. describes it, "We have two worlds, one bridge - understanding. This is the reality of the world of Asperger's Syndrome in adulthood and the world of NeuroTypicals (NT's) in general. We have but one bridge - understanding - upon which to meet and to connect. Let us all walk this bridge that spans our differences toward its centre with tolerance and an attitude of gratitude for these sacred differences that challenge us to shelter and nurture our humanity with care."

A.J. has also included a chapter on Mindfulness and one on Radical Acceptance, both of which, when practiced can postively benefit both those with Asperger's and those who love and care about someone with AS.

There is hope for continued growth and understanding. A.J. Mahari, who is now 49 years old, and is familiar with the landscape of compensatory strategies and the despair of difference and has learned through Mindfulness and Radical Acceptance to find peace and worth in the journey that is her life with Asperger's Syndrome.

Those in a relationship (friend, family member, significant other, ex-partner) with someone with Aspeger's Syndrome, as well as any professional treating someone with Asperger's Syndrome will benefit from the insight A.J. Mahari shares about her own journey and experience in life as a woman diagnosed in adulthood with Asperger's Syndrome.

Inside My Asperger Experience From The Inside Out Audio Program© A.J. Mahari December 2007

Inside My Asperger Experience Audio Program
This audio program is an interesting, insightful, inspiring, and educational examination of one woman's experience with Asperger's Syndrome. A.J. Mahari was initially diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 40. She then denied it and didn't deal with for four years. She was told she had Asperger's Syndrome at a time in her life and in a way you'd least expect. She was not seeking a diagnosis nor had she ever thought she had Asperger's Syndrome. She then sought out a second opinion and was told she didn't have Asperger's. Needing to break the tie, so to speak, she sought out yet another assessment in which the diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome was confirmed.

In this audio program A.J. shares her experience of finding out about Asperger's Syndrome and her journey to facing it and going deeper within to find its meaning and purpose in her life. A.J.'s self-discovery in her "Asperger Experience" is a shining example of the endurance of the human spirit and is an up-lifting and inspirational look at the struggle and quest for self-understanding and self-acceptance from the inside out.

Quotes From A.J. Mahari

"If you have Borderline Personality Disorder you have met your one true enemy -- yourself -- namely, your false self to be much more specific. This false self becomes the shadow self experienced by those with BPD. The more you deny the Shadow Self, the more likely it is that you will be blind to your own faults and find those faults in others. Denying the false self, the shadow self, in BPD, only perpetuates your pain and suffering."

-- A.J. Mahari in her Ebook, "The Shadows and Echoes of Self - The False in BPD"

"The collective experiences compiling in the very young infant are forming an internal representation of the world. The core wound of abandonment results in the destruction of the emerging authentic self. It destroys the very essence of the developing self. Emotional growth and development are arrested as the result of failure to master early childhood developmental phases."

-- A.J. Mahari in her Ebook, "The Legacy of Abandonment in BPD"

"What is in the way - is the way. If you have Borderline Personality Disorder it is the fundamental absence of a known self that sits at the very core of your pain, anger, and your rage. It is your rage that stands between your borderline pain and suffering and your recovery. Your lack of a known and defined self is what is in your way."

-- A.J. Mahari in her Ebook, "Rage And BPD"
